New God of War game starring Kratos announced at Comic-Con

God of War director Cory Barlog announced a new GOW starring original protagonist Kratos, it will tie directly into Laufey's story.

Kratos will return. On Friday, God of War game director Cory Barlog confirmed at San Diego Comic-Con that PlayStation 's Santa Monica Studio is developing another game in the action-adventure franchise that will star Kratos. IGN reports that Barlog said that Kratos' next game will be released after God of War Laufey , which is now officially coming in 2027.
